doesnt make sense. Orlando still seems to be on the Suggs as PG train, and then we drafted Jase Richardson as a development PG and then got Tyus Jones as the current backup PG. Goga gives us a solid backup center who can also start and showed 3 pt range in FIBA play, especially with Mo Wagner still out.
also, has Orlando giving out around $13mil in money and taking back $18 mil. dont think that is legal as we are super close to the apron if not over.

Strus is a 3/2, not a point guard : )

Thanks for the response. I'm not even sure if it's legal from the Cavs end since we're a second apron team. Can't put all my trust on the trade machine.

Re: Cavs and Magic
This makes no sense for the Hornets and the Cavs will not trade Strus for players who will probably be unable to stay on the floor in the playoffs. The Cavs know Strus is playable in the postseason

Dont see Orl doing this. Max Strus is overpaid and just a guy

Orlando doesn't have the need with Black on the roster, but Strus is making MLE money, averages +36 mpg in the playoffs, and was the defender assigned to Franz in Game 7 when he went 1-15.
The O.P. is angry about Strus shooting poorly against the Pacers, but the Cavs F.O. is going to look at everything he brings. They're not moving him in a trade like this.

My main thing with Strus is health and contract. For most teams, he's priced appropriately. For us, a second apron team, he's way too costly for what he brings, in my opinion.
I'm fine keeping him, but if we can turn him into pieces that fill needs, like back-up SF and C, that'd be a win in my book.
Edit: We signed Thomas Bryant. No need to trade Strus anymore.
