I don't know that FVV would waive his NTC.

White is a nice player, tad bit expensive though.

Probably just roll with Reed TBH.

hard to read this ... seems like emojis but is words, lol
hard to read, lol

I don't think Boston wants to trade for Eason and pay his new deal with BOS luxury tax/2nd apron issues

A framework of injured FVV for White would have to be Houston including draft capital I would think

Houston's motivation would boil down to how much emphasis they want to put on THIS year. At Durant's age, Houston probably has 2 or 3 legimitate chances to make a playoff run, so that's why maybe they'd push in some chips while they have an open window

I don’t know if what the Celtics would do but I wouldn’t trade White for dead Money and Eason.
That has the Celtics adding salary, which I do t think they would do unless they really get better for next year. This makes them worse.
White is a top 30 player on a team friendly contract. He would command a lot more value I would think.

Not a Boston or Houston fan…

I love the idea of FVV+picks for White.

FVV - get to be third fiddle to Tatum/Brown once healthy.

Boston - actually drop in the standings in a lost season (understanding they don’t want to do that irl)

Houston - get a great fitting, cheap (for his talent) pg.

If Eason is part (most?) value, I’d look to a third team. Boston shouldn’t pay his next contract to back up Tatum/Brown.

White is a great player locked in, amazing defense, has range, can facilitate... he is the perfect complement for Tatum and Brown honestly, can't see them accepting anything that Houston can send.

I like FVV, but he is not close to White, and now with a full year off recovering from a ACL injury... Boston would be dumb to do this, white would make sense to be traded for a player with major upside... a Vassel + Castle trade for example could make more sense.

White is a superior player to FVV with essentially no flaws at all AND is very healthy AND is in a great contract.

He is the last player the Celtics trade right now.
