Philly and LAL, but Utah

Post#1 » by jayjaysee » Sat Sep 27, 2025 9:56 pm

Same same?

LAL: Maxi, Vincent, Dalton, cash
LAL: Drummond, Love, Anderson, Oubre

It’s bigger than it should be. But LAL gets 3 guys that are useful and will work on their bench. And they get Love in LA with LBJ, though he doesn’t play much. They take on extra money, but stay under second apron and fill their 15th roster spot..

Utah: Anderson, Love, top 55 protected second
Utah: Maxi, Vincent, Dalton, future 2nd from Philly, cash from LAL (4mil?)

Utah gets a look at Dalton by buying out one of Maxi or Vincent. Have to use part of their TPE to make it legal.

Philly: Oubre, Dre, and a future 2nd
Philly: top 55 protected second

Philly gets their Grimes tax space off that rumor.

I like this all around. I wpuld want to flip Knecht for a 2nd or two as a follow up, but would also be fine just seeing if he is an NBA caliber player or the next Chris Duarte.

Think LAL has too many PFs as is and this makes it even worse?

Only there to satisfy touching requirements. Give BKN another 2nd from Philly.

I like it for the Lakers. Anderson and Oubre would help them more than any player they're trading. There's also a chance Drummond still has some productivity left in the tank.

Pass on this deal

Those guys arent very good

Rather take a risk on Rw3

Or go all in on a guy like Wiggins/KCP with bigger salaries
