Assumptions
1-Milw will decide to move Giannis (maybe SA or ATL)-and decide to move Turner too
2-Chi looks good and wants to upgrade their lineup
3-NO sucks and decides to move on from Zion. If ATL goes for Giannis, maybe this can be a huge deal and NO/Milw get their back back
1. Turner for Vuc/Noa/Port pick
Milw gets a center to finish the year in Vuc, and adds a nice prospect in Noa to rebuild with and the Port pick. Milw frees up $ moving forward too
2-Zion for Coby/Collins/JCarter (assuming his good start to the year continues)/Bulls' 2026 unprotected 1st/Bulls 2028 top 4 protected 1st
NO goes into next season with Murphy/Queen/Missi/Fears/Murray/White/Poole/Jones
MAYBE White goes to another team (Hou?)
Bulls go for it with
Giddey/Jones
Okoro/Ayo
Matas/Huerter
Zion/PWill
Turner/JSmith
That could be a good team in the East-Zion/Turner is a nice mix

Re: Bulls Midseason Push (NO/Milw)
There is no way MIL considers that deal. There are probably 10-12 teams that could and would do better.
Deal 2 is just a bad idea unless the idea is to cut Zion and use the savings to sign professional basketball players.

I was hoping and expecting this to be one of the first replies. You did not disappoint. Jroy have it all.

Re: Bulls Midseason Push (NO/Milw)
Please stop, the trades are never good and never make sense.
Why are we giving up Noa who fits perfectly with Matas and Giddey if he develops well for a middling C in Turner? It makes zero sense both short and long term.
Zion got in shape and now you think the Pelicans will trade him? The Bulls aren’t trading 2 unprotected picks on Zion with his history and the Pelicans aren’t trading him without getting a haul back.
None of this makes any sense.

Re: Bulls Midseason Push (NO/Milw)
Turner is a very good player there's no way the Bucks sell extremely short getting an expiring Vucevic a couple of years away project in Essengue and that mythical PORT pick. Doing it to cut payroll makes the management look like fools having just signed Turner. Who would they be getting back in their monster Giannis deal? You make that one first to see who you want back to form the rest of a nucleus.
Zion three games in is the shiny new quarter you fall in love with. January 1st you could be very happy or look like a fool. The Bulls aren't going to drop 2 picks on Zion with the memory of having spent 2 on Vucevic fresh in their mind and the absolute nothing they got from that trade. Why does NOP want 3 expiring contracts who they probably don't want back anyway?
