I don’t think Nurk can be traded until December, so don’t think this works. I guess if everyone is still on the same teams, but I don’t think they will be?
Sort of wonder if CLT would rather the long shot of Cody over a KPJ reunion. Has been a lot of time though.

I think Utah isn't sending enough to get Allen? We probably owe one more first, IMO. I'd do it at the deadline, as much as I enjoy Nurkic and Collier.

I had eating schroder + sending out collier = another frp in value in addition to nurkic/fillers and frp. Can always add more seconds if you want..

Hard no for the Bucks. KPJ is far and away the best player outgoing/incoming & he can play 1-3. Milwaukee gets 2 bad players, 1 who's a guard. Only benefit is they save about 8 million this yr, toward Peyton Watson space. Would rather just trade Green into a tpe though.

The Cavs aren't trade Allen for this type of return.
This will end badly

Bad publicity move by trade Nurk. I’d pass.

KPJ isn't ever coming back to the Cavs. He torched that bridge to get out the last time. However, Allen and Shroeder for PJ and Gafford works straight up. It saves around $6 mil cap room for the Cavs according to fanspo. I don't know which team would need to add what? Cavs fans probably think Dallas adds and Dallas fans probably think opposite.

This is at least 1 first short coming to Cleveland if not a 1st and 2 2nds. Pretty easy no from Cleveland.

I must of repressed KPJ's inclusion, but yeah he won't be coming back to Cleveland so long as Altman runs the front office.

Cavs don't need more guards.

Don’t think this is the deal that gets a deal done, but Allen is a top priority if I am Utah and it isn’t an overpay.

I don't really like Schroder, but I don't think the contract is that bad for him. OTOH I really like Collier, but he also just isn't very valuable. I still think Cleveland is owed a first from us in this deal.

Allen is a really good player. Easy no for Cleveland.

Seems bad for everyone so the value is probably close.

It's not. What were Zubac and Kessler just traded for? Marc Stein just reported that the Hawks want Allen and the Cavs aren't interested.

Allen is a good target for the Jazz, but it would have to cost them more than this. Utah has the assets to make something happen after 12/15. Nurk + Bailey is CBA legal, but I don't know that either side would be happy with it.

The fundamental problem with trading Garland for Harden is the Cavs failed to upgrade the backcourt defensively, and as a result, they still need to keep both bigs to keep the defense from imploding.

I get it. Utah has a similar problem with a porous backcourt, but are now without the eraser behind them to compensate for their defensive flaws.

I would consider it from a Bucks pov.
still learning the game
