Cleveland/Hawks

Post#1 » by bgrep14 » Tue Jul 28, 2026 10:22 am

Cleveland: Allen, Merrill, and Schroeder

Atlanta: Dort, Okongwu, and Kuminga (S&T 3/51)

Atlanta upgrades interior defense and shooting

Cavs upgrade perimeter defense and versatility.

Very interesting...
I have Allen as the best player and fills a gaping hole, that's a major incentive for the Hawks.
Cavs do this if they trust Mobely as a 5 for 20-25MPG at least, but they get 2 starting forwards.
Defense wins draft lotteries!
Fortune favours the bold, so it ducked Nico Harrison.

If that is what it takes to land Kuminga, I'm all the way out.
This will end badly

I tend to think JK is going to end up signing a small one year deal with either Cle or LA and try FA again next offseason.
