Re: NOP/SAC
I fundamentally disagree with your position that adding Hunter, Monk, and Raynaud counts as a "retooling" or would help the Pelicans make a playoff push. I don't know if even you believe that, since your depth chart has Hunter, Monk, and Raynaud all buried behind a bunch of randos.
Nor do I believe a Zion, Lavine and Sabonis trio is making a serious playoff push.
Valuewise I think Sacramento is getting a steal.

Re: NOP/SAC
No. I don't want zion for free let alone add any value. His on court value is super overrated and I don't think he can stay in shape long term and will likely miss extended court time in the future.
Counter offer:
Sabonis for poole, h jones, and derrick queen.
Kings add to our young core and the pelicans retool and make the playoffs.

NOP gets Sabonis and Edwards
PHI gets Missi and Peavy
SAC gets Poole, Hawkins, Bona, and rights to 29 swap on PHI/LAC

Re: NOP/SAC
I am not opposed to adding Zion, but I have no interest paying any value for him.
2 Options from Sac's end -
Sabonis for Zion - Probably doesn't make sense for New Orleans unless they think two passing bigs can work?
Lavine for Zion + Hawkins - If Pelicans want to get out of the Zion business entirely.

Re: NOP/SAC
I like it. But i'd prefer this lineup:
Fears/Monk/Poole
Murray/Herb/McGowans
Murphy/Bey/Peavy
Queen/Hunter/Matkovic
Missi/Raynaud/Koloko

Missi/Raynaud/Koloko

Re: NOP/SAC
This is a non starter.
Zion is a pretty negative value deal whether NOP team and fans see that or not. He would likely be a problem here too as a negative locker room presence with young guys.
Not interested even at a bargain deal.
