Tre was really good for a stretch right after we got him from OKC. Then he hurt his back and pretty much forgot how to play basketball.

But for totally different reasons. Every team gets tired of Schroeder and moves him basically as soon as possible. Smith was just a really good personality who was fine as an end of the bench player. As soon as Dennis declines he will be out of the league. Wonder if Charlotte trades him halfway through the year?

I don’t know about that, but I would put good money he’s not a Hornets at some point next season. I’m pretty sure he’s got two years left on this contract

i'd be surprised if we didn't. i don't think we even make this move if Christian Anderson had a better summer league, this Schroeder deal is basically us saying we don't trust the rookie yet for backup PG minutes.

Hopefully by midseason he's ready, and we can wait for sucker team #13

Personally, I would've just signed that Williams guy from Dallas or promised Russell Westbrook good minutes before he retired, or even just played Christian Anderson and hope he figures it out, but it's whatever
