It sounds like RJ is a difference-maker. He is not.

I think RJ or Poeltl should be pretty expendable, but will defer to you on how aggressive Toronto is willing to be. If they feel its too much change then I guess the idea is DOA. But I'd definitely be trying to win a title with Kawhi and this is a big upgrade towards that.

Kyrie has a much better chance of anchoring a competent offense in those games than RJ Barrett does though right?
I mean overall I mostly agree with you that because it takes another big salary for Toronto to make able to turn IQ into Kyrie its probably not particularly realistic.
But it could be fixed by swapping Poeltl and Gafford and just adding a bit more value to Dallas. Or maybe its RJ for Klay/Christie? That latter one actually feels really good for Toronto in terms of re-balancing the roster.
