I'm wondering if a team like the Bucks or Grizzlies may take a chance on Braun to get that FRP.
Perhaps give up some rotation depth and a starting level SG.

I think Nuggets would love Ty Jerome for example..

If I am Denver, I am offering Christian Braun, Zeke Nnaji, and the pick for Ty Jerome. Get fully out of the Luxury-Tax, obtain the full $21.5MM TPE, and open up enough space to outbid other contenders for their preferred target (seems to be DeMar DeRozan).

Without the inclusion of Zeke Nnaji, I am unsure if it is worthwhile for Denver. I would be more willing to add additional minor Draft capital to facilitate that inclusion, it opens up significantly more flexibility.

What about Jerome and Stewart?

What about for JJJ and AJ Green?

I think Denver is better off betting on Braun having a bounce-back season, and then maybe trying to move him cheaply after that. If nothing else, they need a perimeter defender, and Braun is the best they’ve got.

I like the idea of dumping Nnaji on the Hornets, getting out of the 2nd apron, and getting back a bunch of less attractive draft capital with the Cavs pick. I don't like the idea of attaching that pick to Braun at his current value or dumping a useful expiring in Cam. They've already lost Watson. They should be looking to gain more flexibility moving forward.

I think I'm more at what could Denver get for Nnaji + the 2031 1st. Jaime Jaquez Jr. Perhaps?

The Bucks should absolutely do that, but this is Jamie's last year on his rookie deal and I like it far less for Denver. They'd still be over the 2nd apron.

No but we are disappointed at how things have gone since the title run. Jokic is an all-time great and Denver's management have made lots of iffy moves in his prime (to be fair they have had limitations, but so does everyone)

Yep.

I'm thinking Cam J, Nnaji, and the pick for JJJ and LeVert. That gets you guys out of the 2nd apron while trading one expiring for another and upgrading a boat anchor into a very good rotation piece.

I think both guys are worth a late 1sts. And this is the only pick they have to offer so it not like pulling the typical UP when they have a lot of ways to work a deal. Maybe a 2nd or two goes back but for sure not taking in Braun, who I would charge a solid 1st to take him in alone. So as much as I like a UP pick not giving up 3 1sts in value to get it.

He just had a hot 15 games of scoring on MUCH higher volume, but his defense is still terrible and he largely just played as he did previously? Add on a player option, so if he IS a different player, only have Early Bird Rights and he can opt out?

Probably a package worth filler and 4-5 seconds. Maybe a well protected 1st instead? Make that future 1st that Denver owns top 20 protected? Definitely not worth an unprotected future 1st like that.

I think Jerome is the best per $ offensive player that is like available on the trade market and easy to salary match. Of course he has his issues but that is why he is not worth a better 1st. I don't think we would accept anything close to 4-5 2nds for that package or a top 20 protected 1st. Stewart alone was worth 4-5 2nds? We paid 3 2nds and 15 million in cap. Disagree with your evaluation but the biggest issue is Braun himself being a very bad deal regardless of what you think Jerome is worth.

I don't think they can get Jerome or Wells. I think they can get OMP or Spencer, maybe Pippen.
