Sabonis/Clifford for Missi/Poole/Jones

Based on reports the Kings won't entertain an extension for Sabonis, Ill offer this idea between the Kings and Pelicans

To New Orleans
-Domatas Sabonis (2 years, $94 million)
-Nique Clifford (2years, $6.6 million plus $6 million TO)

To Sacramento
-Yves Missi (1 year, $3.5 million plus $5.5 million TO
-Herb Jones (2 years, $43.3 million plus $24 million PO)
-Jordan Poole (1 year, $34 million)

Why?
-The Pelicans upgrade their 5 spot as they still have Queen to develop into a starting 5 once Sabonis expires. Sabonis expires along with Williamson and potentially Murray in summer of 2028. This still gives Pelicans enough room under 1st apron to add a minimum contract if they want.

Murray/Fears/
Mathrin/Hawkins/McGowens
Murphy/Clifford/Bey
Williamson/Watford/Matkovic
Sabonis/Queen/Jordan

-The Kings get the expiring Poole to align with expiration of LaVine and Hunter while getting a replacement C to split time with Raynaid

Acuff/Poole/Sharpe
LaVine/Monk/Plowden
Hunter/Jones
Murray/Karaban/Cardwell
Missi/Raynaud/Achiwura

Value is not bad, but Sabonis seems like a pretty bad defensive fit with Queen and Zion. I wouldn't give up Herb and Missi to get another poor defensive center.

I hate the fit for the Pells - Sabonis/Zion/Queen has no hope on defense.

I don't like the value for Sacramento. If Sabonis comes back healthy and effective he'll be worth more in a trade (I don't see Herb as that valuable at this point). Sabonis is also the Kings best hope to avoid a bottom-3 finish.
