Why?

Rockets improve their 2 weakest positions and a lineup of Kirk/Bonzi/Shane/JO/Yao is a sure trip to the 2nd round (and more)!

Bulls get trade part of their core for a superstar in Tmac, who will form one of the best wing duo's with Deng.

Lakers finalize their roster with Big Ben who can play next to Bynum or Odom, with Bynum coming off the bench.

Pacers get their much needed go-to guy in Gordon, and also the ending contracts to resign him in the offseason. Pacers have shown they can win games without JO, and they have enough frontcourt depth (if healthy).

Chicago isn't interested in T-Mac anymore. T-Mac no longer has the upside he once did, and has less character in regards to making a comeback in which he would play second fiddle to Luol Deng.

Houston isn't interested. Rafer Alston has outplayed Hinrich this year, and Tmac is not only better but (surprisingly) less injury prone than JO.

Actually, that's not true.

McGrady has played in 25 of your 31 games. Meanwhile, JO has been in 26 of the Pacers' 32 contests. So, they're about equal in the "injury prone" department. but T-Mac is expected to miss at least the next 7 games, so if anything JO is healthier this year.

And even this year, Hinrich is an upgrade over Rafer. It's a fair deal for HOU, but possibly not worth the switch, I would say.

LAL takes the brunt of risk in this proposal, and there's really no good reason for it. Bynum's developing into a great young player, and Wallace is likely not a triangle PF. In any event, the Lakers aren't going to pay $29mil to find out.

I'd pass for Chicago. I love TMac as a player, but his injuries are going to catch up to him, if they haven't already. I have a bad feeling that he is going to be done as a NBA player because of injuries in two years.

I only see Houston doing this.

Pacers could use a bit more, but it ain't terrible.

what about taking Chris Mihm and Ben Wallace out and just have Chicago send Nocioni to LA instead?
