I pass. I was talking a few days ago with MIL fans, where Gomes could come in and perhaps start there, so I think he has more trade value than this. If O'Bryant had been extended, I might do it, but if MIN wants to give him a chance, they can just wait. His cost in free agency won't be high if he rides the bench for the next four months, and he's a local boy, so MIN probably saves money by not getting him here to audition him.

BTW, Gomes has averaged 16 PPG, 7.5 RPG over the last couple weeks

His cost in free agency won't be high if he rides the bench for the next four months, and he's a local boy, so even if POB fails next year, its not going to cost MIN much (I'd guess 2 years at $2.2 mil). I don't put much value on a pick in the 50's, so I don't see any upside to making this trade now.
