If you wanted BW, then you should have traded Garnett to us instead of Boston. lol.

No.

I kind of like Gomes and in the right spot...Green can blossom, but I expect Wright is a long term starter and Gomes-Green are more like rotation guys....and we can always find one of those. At the moment,Nellie is making it low priority to develop our recent picks...a serious mistake...but Nellie likely is the coach one more year..so I'm looking past that.

Gomes went 17-and-15 last night, and he's a young guys who's started over 100 games, so I think he has some value. He's a good enough passer and smart enough that I think he'd fit with GSW. Green would be fun to watch in the open court, but since he wasn't extended, the Warriors could just sign him next season if they wanted to.

Wright's a prospect, so he'd fit with the Wolves, but I don't think this is enough. Like most teams look at their lottery prospects, gsw fans dream about what Wright might be rather than what he is. That's cool -- MIN does the same with McCants.

What might be more appealing is the MIA pick + Gomes + Green for Wright + something small. Then again, when you're talking about the expectations of teams with their young player's progression, it might just make both say no.

I know the Wolves did it long ago with Donyell Marshall, and GSW should have listened to everyone outside of the Bay Area and did it with POB back when he had a little trade value.

If GS wanted to give up on Wright for some reason, they could find a higher bidder than this.

You guys should be happy! As I recall, it wasn't Wright that was the roadblock ..remember how you kept saying that Biedrins (10.6 PPG, 9.9 RPG) was too much to ask? You stuck BOS with the "aging" (as you called him) KG, and MIN got forced to take Al Jefferson (20.4 PPG, 12.1 RPG), but you kept your prize! Congrats!

Golden State gets a bad deal... they say no without any second thought.

Wasn't it Wright, Harrington, and Biedrins? That's too much for GS to give.

MIN didn't want Harrington.

Most of the offers were based around Wright, POB, Pietrus and Foyle, and sometimes part of the TPE for a bad contract. Many many GSW fans laid out a bad offer then preceded to explain why MIN should jump at it because KG was over the hill, and due for injuries, and about to walk.

I think its odd that two GSW posters felt they had to bring it up, when KG is long gone. Sour grapes

There you go again Shrink, on your annual screw the Warriors trade campaign. I was trying to be kind to you in my earlier post. This trade just flat out sucks for the Warriors. We were including Monta in that trade too which you neglected to mention, anybody but Davis and Biedrins. No way Garnett would have come over here if he had to play Center or without Baron which is why we couldn't give up Biedrins. You and Jeff enjoy last place.

Only a fraction of the offers contained Monta, and you guys tended to start with "I'll start by offering our third most valuable player, and if I insult Garnett enough, maybe it will convince someone."

I agree that the OP's deal is bad for , and this was best demonstrated by St. Nick.

Thanks! And you guys enjoy your first round exit from the play-offs! If we had acquired a 10-10 Biedrins it wouldn't have changed our rebuilding plight .. you plight might have changed if you made a reasonable offer to put KG with Baron Davis rapidly closing window.

Thanks Shrink, for the Civil response. I just had to get that off my chest. lol.

Maybe Belinneli for Gomes. Azu has a better future than Gomes or Belli

I like Gomes in GS, but I don't really see anything that works better than loserX's Gomes for POB and a 2nd.
