I don't see Utah trading its 3 best defenders for McGrady even if the value is fair.

this would totally go against Sloan's identity and for that price you would need to be getting Kobe, not TChoke.

Houston wouldn't want AK or his contract, and not another (albeit slightly better) Chuck Hayes in Millsap on the roster. Brewer just isn't that impressive. Utah and Houston, besides having bad blood between them, are terrible trading partners.

As a Jazz fan I would hate this trade to happen. We already have our playmaker and now we have zero defense. Sloan plays a motion offense with a lot of ball movement. Tmac is a protype isolation player. No thanks.

Tmac is a better defender than Brewer though, and also a better man defender than AK

I'm not sure I'd rather have Kobe. I think T Mac can be a better chemistry guy.

I like that deal for both sides, even while houston would take a step backwards

yao+kirilenko(+milsap) should work nicely as a frontcourt...they just would need to find a better playmaker somewhen (but these guys are young, which gives them time)

williams-tmac-boozer-okur is scarry...should make 130points a game...and take about the same :)

I don't think that I pull the trigger on this if I am the Jazz. Call me a homer, but the package of AK, Brewer and Milsap is a little rich for McGrady. Pulling away the three players on the Jazz known for their d (justifiably or not) doesn't help the Jazz compete in the western conference any better, and McGrady isn't known as one that can help get a team deep into the offseason.
