This works in the checker but Cliff Levingston doesn't feel like re-creating it for a valid ID. You're welcome to do so though if you don't believe Cliff Levingston:
Memphis trades:
- Mike Miller
- Andre Brown
- Casey Jacobsen
Chicago trades:
- Andres Nocioni
- Thabo Sefolosha
- Viktor Khryapa
Nocioni seemingly fits well into the uptempo style being played in Memphis with his shooting ability, hustle and ability to play the 3/4 positions. Thabo gives the young Grizzlies with another young player to develop at the 2 position who already plays great defense. Khryapa isn't anything special and is mostly just filler.
1. Stoudamire, Conley, Lowry
2. Gay, Navarro
3. Nocioni, Sefolosha, Cardinal
4. Gasol, Warrick
5. Milicic, Swift
The Bulls even out their roster a little, easing the jam in the front court with Nocioni's absence and receiving a guy who can start at the 2.
1. Hinrich, Duhon
2. Miller, Gordon, Jacobsen
3. Deng, Griffin
4. Smith, Thomas, Brown
5. Wallace, Noah, Gray

Works for me. Miller can play the 3 some also to take up Nocioni's back up SF minutes.
For Chicago, this more than replaces Nocioni's scoring while freeing up frontcourt minutes for bigger players. Duhon, obviously, would be the big loser here with Kirk and Ben also losing a little court time, but oh well.
I actually really like this from a Chicago POV and I could very well see Memphis being interested also.

It doesn't appear that we'll be able to retain Duhon anyway; not if Deng and Gordon get much over $10 mil per year average contracts. Besdies, you know as well as Cliff Levingston that we need more scoring from any position we can get it, and this certainly accomplishes that.
Cliff Levingston sees plenty of minutes available for Gordon, Hinrich and Miller after this year. Something like:
1. Hinrich [36], Gordon [12]
2. Miller [24], Gordon [24]
3. Deng [36], Miller [12]
That's 36 minutes for all 4 guys in your regular rotation between the 3 positions.

If anything, Cliff Levingston sees Memphis as the ones turning this down.

No I like it because:
A) Nocioni is one of my favorite players in the league.
B) He's tough and plays with Heart. Something our team needs.
C) We don't lose anything from the perimeter as far as shooting.
D) We get a change even if minor.
E) Sefolosha/Khryapa have some upside whereas Jacobsen/Brown do not.
F) With Darko struggling it gives us another starter in our lineup.
Conley/Navarro/Gay/Nocioni/Gasol
With Swift/Warrick/Milicic off the bench.
Frees us up to deal Swift/Warrick in the offseason.
