I was wondering what Orlando and Memphis fans opinions on the following trade premise.

Two of Garrity, Evans, or Dooling (maybe Redick or Cook) and 2008 1st for Darko?

Darko is struggling in Memphis. I think that he fits better with Dwight than Gasol. Dwight would feed off the high low game with Darko who with Battie could hold down the front court next year.

Memphis gets rid of their unsuccessful long-term off season signing and a pick in the low to mid 20's.


What trade combinations make sense if any? What do Memphis fans think about the Darko signing?

lol that would be funny. I don't think they'd take Cook, but expirings+1st for Darko would be a good deal for both sides IMO.

We are not looking to clear cap.

Well..unless you want Stromile Swift or Damon Stoudamire.

Swift might be a good pickup for the Magic.

I'll suggest old faithful.

If we've learned anything on this board over the past 3 months, it's that ORL can return better than Darko for their expirings. Heck, I'd rather have Curry than Milicic.

But it is a funny idea.
