I stepped down from my original argument somewhat, to say that maybe Moore isn't worth a 2010 1st, but he's surely worth more than a 2009 2nd. But I do think a mid-first round rookie, an undrafted rookie and a 2nd-rounder for Moore is fair, at least.
I see you're counting Critt as one of the "two first round picks". I see what you mean, but I don't count current players as "picks". I'd call them "recent draftees" or something. That doesn't mean I don't value Critt similarly as you do, it just means your use of the term is confusing. I mean, if we follow your definition, Jamaal Maglorie and Jason Collins are both "first round picks" too, I suppose!
ANYWAY, I think a logical midway point between an 2010 LAL 1st and a 2008 LAL 2nd is the 2008 CHA pick owed to you. Top-40 Protected, shall we say?

The Kings would certainly agree to this.
I actually think its a very solid trade all round.
Kings
PG Bibby/Udrih/Crit
SG Martin/D. Jones
SF Salmons/Garcia
PF Williams/SAR/J. Williams
C Miller/Magloire/Hawes/Collins
Sac 09 1st
NJN future 1st
LAL future 2nd
IMO Sac would be set up in the future a lot better with a lot of assets and Sean Williams would be a good player next to Hawes.
If that doesn't work out he is a young player so he will have value.
Also Udrih and/or Critt would be good in the future at the point.
This would be a great first step in a rebuild.
IDK what would be done after this, but maybe in the off season trading Bibby would be a priority and after Brad Miller playing well this season he shouldnt be too hard to trade either.

Moore = Carl 2nd rounder
Jefferson= Odom Critt
This is how your side of the deal breaks down.
I'm glad someone sees the benefit of this deal for LA. RJ would work off of Kobe very well, and Moore would be a good glue guy.

With a guy like Kobe and an emerging star in bynum I think Jefferson would be the Pefect second option and this could take what is currently a good team in LA and make it a very good team. LA goes deep in the playoffs after this and possibly to the WC Finals against the Spurs. I bet then we would also see a NJN VS BOS EC finals as well. It would be a very star studded event and would get tons of ratings which would help out the NBA. I'm sure that if this trade were to go down that some of us here on this board could expect thank you notes from David Stern himself.

If you truly believe these three things, there is nothing I can do for you.
Take the NYK offer (you know, the one they'll actually do). It's fair. I just think that since this deal offers a bit more financial restart, and gives higher-quality youth, it would be more palatable. Obviously you disagree...

I'm glad I'm getting positive feedback from SAC fans. I agree, this is a quality youth package for the Kings, and both Crittenton and Williams make sense alongside Martin, Garcia and Hawes.
I'm going to see what the three team forums think about this trade, to get some wider response...

I cannot help but assume this conclusion, since you created an Artest trade today for the two Knicks' youngsters, but you're panning this one. This proposal actually gives you more financial relief than the other, too.
I don't validate your "aggregate" comment either. What Artest doesn't have multiple players returning? Certainly yours meets that criteria. You get an expiring, a two-year deal, two stud youngsters and two picks.
No I'm going off of previous reports with that thread. Marty McNeal of the Sacramento Bee made mention of Lee/Robinson as players. I myself expect more in return...Lee/Balkman/1st/Collins with a KT dump as the value for star in Artest. I think Knicks youngsters are EXTREMELY overhyped.
