Milwaukee/Sacramento/Houston

Milwaukee sends out Redd(to Houston), Simmons(to Houston), C.Villanueva(to Sacramento, and D.Mason(to Sacramento)

Milwaukee receives -- Bibby, Battier, B.Miller

Why for Milwaukee -- The Bucks use Redd to move Simmons' contract and to a point D.Mason's contract. The Bucks pick up some smart basketball players who could help give the team some leadership. B. Miller could help teach Bogut and provides a decent backup C, Bibby is a very good PG that would allow Mo to move to SG or 6th man role, and Battier is just a good all around player.

Sacramento sends out Bibby(to Milwaukee), Artest(to Houston), B.Miller(to Milwaukee)

Sacramento receives -- McGrady, B.Wells, C.Villanueva, and D.Mason

Why for Sacramento -- They get McGrady who is a top talent(when healthy), and a couple of other talented players for basically Bibby and Artest. It also allows them to dump B.Miller's contract.

Houston sends out McGrady(to Sacramento), Battier(to Milwaukee), B.Wells(to Sacramento)

Houston receives -- Redd, Artest, B.Simmons

Why for Houston -- For Houston it is a statement that they want to win a championship. They get 2 star players to surround Yao, while having to take on the contract of Simmons.

Bibby and Mo can't run together in the same backcourt. They're too similar. Also, opposing teams would have a field day going through their perimeter D (eve nwith Battier around), and they simply don't have the elite defenders inside to compensate for that.

T-Mac <<<<< Artest + Redd. C'mon. Battier and Wells do not make up for the sizable discrepancy in this trade.

HOU reaps from MIL's and SAC's misfortune.

How would Mo and Bibby running together be any worse defensively that Mo and Redd? This is a deal for Milwaukee to mix things up. Maybe they can then deal either Mo or Bibby for something else that might help them. What they have certainly is not working.

Redd is 6'6 and is in the best shape of his career. Bibby is 6'1 (-ish) and coming back from surgery. As underwhelming as the Bucks' defense already is, it can get worse. And we have you to thank, for showing us just how it can get worse.

Not that this idea has any legs at all, but it seems like cutting Milwaukee out of the deal could create a lot more possibilities.

Never thought I'd say this, but I agree with you, Smills.

Not really sure how. The Kings don't have anything the Rockets would want beyond Martin and Artest, and Martin is probably overpaying for you, and Artest is definitely overpaying for us.

As to the original deal, I'd rather stand pat and deal for Artest ourselves without Mac. Find a 3rd team willing to trade young talent (perhaps Miami) to the kings with us sending Battier or wells and a 1st. If the kings prefer Wells or Battier and a 1st from Houston, thats fine too, but I doubt it.

This is the worst trade ever for the Bucks.

Houston is not going to part ways for Tmac to get a lesser version of him.

Why would a rebuilding team (Sacramento) trade for T-Mac?

Bucks have no use for Bibby or Brad Miller.
