Successful Trade Scenario
Congratulations on a successful trade.
Due to New York and Sacramento being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. New York and Sacramento had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

I think the Knicks get way too much out of this deal right now. Next year it will be more fair considering Marbury will have a 22 million dollar expiring contract but until then his deal is quite the albatross.

I agree with #1knickfan. More like...

R Artest, S Abdur-Rahim & K Thomas for S Marbury, D Lee & N Robinson

And the Kings buy S Marbury's two year deal & send him packing. The addtion of N Robinson, along with B Udrih, completely allows the Kings to deal M Bibby to the Heat for J Williams & D Wright.

I see only one plausibility:

Ron
KT

for

Rose
Lee
Robinson
1st OR Balkman

If that doesn't happen to some extent I have a hard time seeing Petrie bite at anything Isiah has to offer.

Said it before, will say it again: I sincerely doubt the Kings trade Bibby and Artest in the same deal. They can do much better trading them separately.

Well that would explain why Petrie's managed only Mikki Moore in the offseason then. :D

My guess is Smills really is Petrie...based on opinion of Kings players value.

I also agree with #1knickfan.

Smills trade is closer but I don't see the Knicks trading Lee and Balkman together.

I would do this deal if I was the GM of the Kings. I think it's realistic.

Exactly correct. Besides the fact that there is still some lingering question as to their ability to coexist.

The rest of this - Marbury to the Kings =

Sorry to break it to you, but this doesn't work in the trade checker.
