Blowin up the Bucks. What would you do?

OK folks, Bucks are BAD; have no defense what so ever. On the Bucks board we've been talking about who we'd deal:

Bucks available: M.Redd, CV, B. Simmons, D. Gadzuric, C. Bell, and maybe Mo Williams.

On the Bucks board we've already talked about a deal w/ Utah:

Redd, CV for AK47 & R. Brewer

What would you do? Yi & Bogut are untouchable.

Why is Bogut untouchable?

The Jazz pass easy on that one IMO. AK47 relocated his gun.

proabably means more to them than other teams are willing to deal

I still think that a Mo Williams / Ron Artest deal could be great for both teams.

Because if we are rebuilding we wont get a better young center with what we have.

Cavs would do anything to get Redd; like taking on bad contracts...

Jazz pass on that deal in the OP. We can't trade our 2 best defenders and inherit the Bucks' problem.

I like several of the Bucks' players, but don't really see a fit for Utah (unless you want to swap Bell for Hart to cut salary).

Yes, great............Ivey and Charlie Bell at point guard. Music to my ears.

how about Michael Redd, Charlie Villanueva, Andrew Bogut, and Dan Gadzuric for Kwame Brown, Andrew Bynum, Lamar Odom, Sasha Vujacic, and a protected first round pick?

The Lakers would get good scorers around Kobe with the additions of Redd and CV. Bogut would give Laker fans a young center to fawn over. Gadzuric would provide adequate depth. A lineup of Fisher/Farmer at PG, Redd, Kobe, CV, and Bogut would be better than what they currently have.

For the Bucks, Kwame would represent a large expiring contract. Bynum would be someone they could build their future around. Odom gives them an immediate player and a two year contract. Vujucic gives them a shooter and the pick will represent some player picked in the bottom third of the first round.

And let's not forget that Artest could walk in the offseason, meaning you gave Mo away for nothing.

Lakers would never do it. Id add in 2 first round pick from the Bucks and it still wouldnt happen.

What are you talking about?

LOTTO TEAMS ARE NOT GOING TO TRADE YOUNG STARTERS OR PICKS FOR A RENTAL. ANY RENTAL. Period. That's an idiotic thing to do.

You can say Artest will sign an extension, but the fact of the matter is that you don't know that...NOBODY does. Any GM who stakes his job on Artest's stability and predictability deserves whatever they get.

Revisit this if you decide to S&T Artest in the offseason. No other team is going to take that risk for you in the meantime.

Could the Bucks re-up Artest assuming he is traded to the Bucks? With the fear of being a rental, the Bucks could re-sign him....

Or, Artest could walk away for nothing because he's an unrestricted FA!

Here's the best Bucks-Cavs trade I can make. Basically, the Bucks trade all of their bad 3-4 year contracts for 1-2 year contracts. Cleveland also sends two first round picks with minimal protection on them.

If about 10 firsts were added, no doubt.
