GINORMOUS! Knicks, Heat, and Cavs!

Post#1 » by shagadelic45 » Fri Jan 4, 2008 2:01 am

these 3 teams are in need of major help and a major shake up. they're all headed towards the lottery and at least 2 had visions of a championship this year. the knicks turn over their roster and try to begin the rebuilding process. the cavs add some weapons around lebron (at least try to make him happy by doing something to improve) and move a few underperforming, sour pusses. the heat dump shaq's albatross deal (let's face it, he's not getting back to peak form, ever) and bring in some solid vets (riley guys, with no longer than 3 years left on their deals) to try and rejuveinate dwade and the heat back to the top.

Miami passes easily here. This is just terrible for us. We'd be far better off buying Shaq out. We trade Shaq's large deal for a bunch of crappy smaller deals. NOT HAPPENING!

After 3 tries I'm ashamed to say I have yet to read the entire trade proposal.

I have no idea why the Cavs would want so many knicks. It's not like it's working out for the actual knicks

To be fair though the Cavs without Lebron is just darn awful.

In your many years here has this guy ever posted anything even remotely beneficial to a conversation or created anything worth more than simple derision?

The only problem is that Hughes, Richardson, Gooden, and Curry suck and that the expiring contracts of Williams and Davis would be worth more to miami than any of these four.

Pretty much. And while dumping Shaq and Blount is fine, it's not like we're getting relief for that.

even if Miami let williams and davis expire, their still up against the cap with Shaq, Blount, and Wade totaling about $40+ million for just those 3.

why not dump a coule big contracts for some smaller ones with the possibility of getting something good out of it.

Cause we're not getting anything good out of it? EddyCurry is enough incentive to take on all of that crap? No freaking way. It's not even debateable...
