Why?

Nets take a gamble on a resurrected JO and hope Krstic comes back healthy to form the Mighty 4. Delfino can battle Nachbar for the starting SF spot.

Pacers need some athleticism in their lineup and RJ and SWAT will provide just that. Collins adds depth to the frontcourt and has just one more year on his contract.

Raptors welcome back Mighty Mouse who will backup Calderon till Ford returns. Magloire finally comes home too and gives Toronto a big body in the paint.

Grizzlies add Garbojosa to form a mini Spanish enclave in a trade to get rid of the unhappy Stoudamire.

Toronto wants no part of this trade. Delfino's shots can be cringe-worthy, but he's a good defender and rebounder on the wing, which is what we need. Magloire might be Canadian, but he's also terrible...he fouls and turns the ball over too frequently to stay on the court, and has fallen out of New Jersey's rotation despite their need for big men. I don't mind the return of Damon as a stopgap, but not if it costs us a pretty good rotation player, one who may be starting at SG if Parker is moved.
