*** Bulls are looking to get out of Big Ben's contract and heres the solution... they get the biggest expiring contract in the league and will probably be able to re-up Jamison in the offseason for somewhere like 4yr/30mil which isnt bad for his near all star production. Ty Thomas doesnt play much in Chi-town anymore and might need a change of scenery.

Dumping Wallace is nice and Etan can be serviceable, but I doubt the Bulls retain Antawn after this year. Essentially the Bulls are giving up Tyrus just to get rid of Wallace.

That's a pretty painful thought.

We could package AJ for a much better big than Wallace with the numbers he's putting up. Furthermore, bringing Wallace in now would only stunt Haywood's growth. We need someone to play along beside him, not someone who's going to take away minutes.

Bad move for both teams.

Chicago doesn't really need Jamison since they have similar players in Nocioni and Deng. They'd probably let Jamison walk in the summer. Ultimately, they'd be sacrificing Tyrus Thomas in order to trade Wallace for Etan. I don't think they're that desperate to dump Wallace.

Washington doesn't do it either. Jamison is an integral player in their system. They're not going to cut him just to acquire a redundant PF prospect who isn't noticably better than Blatche. They also screw up their cap situation by taking on Wallace's absurd contract.

Yeah, pretty unnecessary for both teams.
