Milwaukee Trade Breakdown
Incoming Players
Damon Stoudamire
Mike Miller
1st round pick(top 10 protected)
Outgoing Players
Michael Redd
Royal Ivey
Memphis Trade Breakdown
Incoming Players
Michael Redd
Royal Ivey
Outgoing Players
Damon Stoudamire
Mike Miller
1st round pick(top 10 protected)

Why for MIL: They get rid of Redds big contract and they get a similar player back in Mike Miller. They seem to need a SF big time since Bobby Simmons is pretty much useless. They also get a pretty good backup PG in Mighty Mouse. They also get a 1st round pick to build around Yi and Bogut.

Line-up
Mo Williams/Damon Stoudamire
Desmond Mason/Charlie Bell
Mike Miller/Bobby Simmons
Yi Jianlian/Charlie V
Andrew Bogut/Jake Voskuhl

Why for MEM: They get MICHAEL REDD! Imagine a Redd,Gay, and Gasol starting on the same team. They get rid of Damon Stoudamire who wants out. Now they can compete with the loaded West with more stars in their roster.

Line-up
Mike Conley/Kyle Lowry
Michael Redd/JCN
Rudy Gay/ Casey Jacobsen
Pau Gasol/Stromile Swift
Darko/ Andre Brown

Like Miller and Redd as a starting point but I would rather keep Ivey then pick up another undersized PG who can't defend.....we have that here already.

Don't like it because of the top 10 protection on the pick. If its top 5, sure.

Take Ivey out and remove the protection. If not remove then the protection must be heavily reduced. I mean a lineup of:

Conley
Redd
Gay
Gasol
Darko

Is a pretty damn good team.

Is that a joke? Redd doesn't help the team in any way but scoring, and we got enough of that. Plus, you get rid of his horrendous contract. Take it or leave it.

No thanks to the trade for me, though. I don't want a gunslinger more interested in his stats than W's.
