Redd to Washington

Bucks Get:
Antawn Jamison (Expiring Contract)
Etan Thomas

Wizards Get:
Michael Redd
Bobby Simmons

Bucks get off the hook for paying Redd super-star money and they dump Bobby Simmons' huge deal and get back in the position of having cap flexibility.

Wizards make themselves financially strapped with this deal but would land themselves the best back-court duo in the league and would kill teams from the perimeter each night. Simmons can be an undersized power foward for Washington until they can draft/sign a legit 4 next off-season.

Pass. Swap bad contract for bad contract but only get back an expiring for Redd? No way.

I can't see the Bucks taking Thomas. They can reasonably demand expirings, a 1st, and the right to dump Simmons or Gadzuric for Redd. And perhaps more.

This doesn't help as AT ALL. We swap Redd for an expiring deal and swap a bad contract for another one. The Thomas for Simmons swap does nothing.

the wizards would never do that, ever.
