Redd & Bogut to Chicago

Post#1 » by loflin3hree5ive » Sat Jan 5, 2008 12:26 am

Bucks Get:
Kirk Hinrich
Tyrus Thomas
Joakim Noah
Joe Smith
2008 2nd Round Pick

Bulls Get:
Michael Redd
Andrew Bogut

bucks add a point guard who'se not as good as the ones they passed up on in the draft for Bogut, add another building block next to yi in ty thomas and add noah who can be the glue-guy amongst the young milwaukee bucks. hinrich perhaps slides over to play 2 guard and mo williams remains at the point.

bulls fill their hole down low with bogut. redd isn't the best fit for chicago but adding him would allow gordon to come off the bench with duhon at the point or it might slide ben back to point guard. whether it makes sense for their roster or not, this trade make the bulls better for the foreseeable future.

But they already have Mo Williams. Adding another well-paid PG isn't that big a draw.

And they're not trading Bogut, from what I can tell.

hinrich can play 2 guard and it never hurts to have another good passer on the floor to get the ball to yi.

Wow awful. At least propose a 1st round pick if you want Redd and Bogut. :nonono:

8 of the first 9 threads on this board are Redd trades right now. This one has the distinction of being the worst though. :P

maybe a heavily protected one, but bogut and redd's trade value isn't all that much higher than hinrich and thomas'. i thought noah would close the gap but looking at it a lotto protected 1st might be in order. what do bulls fans think?
