Miami uses their expiring deals to get some talent around Wade. They improve their PG situation, add another shooter, and a good all around player in Simmons. They wont be in the range to pick up free agents the next few years anyway so trading the expirings for these players makes sense. They become a much better team.

Milwaukee is in trouble and needs to shake it up. Redd has a huge contract and Simmons' is big itself. Milwaukee gets nearly $17 million in expirings, pick up Blount, and good young player in Dorell Wright. The start of a rebuild for the team.

Memphis rids themself of Damon's distractions, save a few dollars, and allows Lowry and Conley to pick up some extra playing time and develop.

Neither can I. But Miami does this instantly.
