Milwaukee Bucks Trade:

Milwaukee Bucks Receive:

Congratulations on a successful trade.

Due to Toronto, Atlanta, and Milwaukee being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Toronto, Atlanta, and Milwaukee had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Reasons for Toronto: Simple, they get rid of some excess depth and finally pick up the star wing they need. Redd could give them volume scoring from the 2-guard position something that the Raptors sorely lack right now. Someone who can create and command double-teams and put pressure on the defense from the wing position.

Reasons for Atlanta: The Hawks need a PG in the worst way, as Anthony Johnson and Acie Law aren't going to cut it. Law is more of a scoring two-guard anyways. They finally get a great young pass-first PG in Jose Calderon who can really make that offense click and get a solid wing player who can replace Marvin's production in Delfino. They also get a first rounder to help in the future.

Reasons for Milwaukee: Well, supposedly the Bucks are having a firesale and starting with Michael Redd. They get rid of Redd and Gadzuric's awful contracts and pick up a bonafide young talent in Marvin Williams to give them a great young core of Bogut, Yi, Marvin and Mo Williams while also picking up an expiring in Lue and some cap relief the following year in Rasho and Garbo. Milwaukee gets to rebuild and tank the rest of the year for Mayo who can be their new superstar 2 guard.

Fire away.

Sorry the Bucks wouldn't do that...Redd for basically Marvin Williams?...

TOR won't do it either.

Marvin Williams for Calderdon?

How many times can ATL say no to that?

A virtual late pick wont change that IMO.

I'm really looking forward to Juan Dixon and Darrick Martin splitting 48 mpg at the point for the next month or two. Man has yet to develop tranquilizers capable of soothing the jangled nerves which that pairing would create.

If Raptors can get Marvin Williams and Tyronn Lue for Calderon, Delfino and an 09 First, we'd do that before we trade for Redd. And that is for sure! Especially when you add on the fact we keep Rasho instead of Gadz and his contract and keep Garbo.

So if the Hawks are willing to trade Marvin for JC, Delfino and an 09 First, Raptors are not interested in a three way (unless it's getting us a legit 2nd tier, young, star)

I'd easily do it. Ray for Green<Redd for Williams.

Bucks are then a young team with the 1,3,4,5 spots filled with pretty decent young players for the future and we end up with lottery pick in this draft to fill the 2.

Not bad but I don't think we do that no need for Lue we have enough point guards. I think if you can figure someone else of value could really open Bucks fans eyes

Atlanta says no. Having to resign 3 starters would be a no go. Chill and Delfino is not a great sf rotation.
