The Kings suck when you consider how much talent they have on their team. This deal accepts that they're officially rebuilding. Gone are a heck of a lot of contract burden and in come only ending contracts and a pick. The Kings will have a lot of cap-space already next year. Assuming they can get some decent value for Bibby this team looks forward rather than back.

1) The Kings aren't trading Salmons and Artest in the same deal as Salmons is the intended replacement

2) This is awful anyways for the Kings. They trade 3 good players but get back basically nothing but a useless player that probably won't make their roster next year (Wright) and a 1st round pick that they may not get for years.

I'll admit this team isnt playing great this year. But when was the last time they have all their talent on the court at the same time? Artest already missed 10+plus games, Bibby havent play a single game, and Martin has been out for a month. Im not saying this team will do major damage once everyone is back, but Petrie isnt gonna blow up the team without seeing the team's full potential. Ok. Im done ranting.

As for the trade, Sac denied. At least keep the pick unprotected. They gave up 3 desire players who are playing great this year and they take back just expirings. Im aware Dwight is young but he didnt improve much this year. As for Davis I wouldnt even trade Salmons for him. Not saying one another better, but Salmons is signed to a very good long term contract. Davis is going to look for a big contract this offseason.

The kings don't give up miller, salmons and artest for that crap.

The Kings are playing with their youth right now and they are making too many mistakes but they'll learn and will start winning some of these close ones that they are losing

Chigao massacres the other teams. They shed an albatross and only geve up Duhon and gain to useful players and the only negative is them getting back SAR? Nuh uh, not gonna happen. Chi needs to make the trade a little more palatable for Sacto.

For Miami I probably wouldn't do this because no matter what we have no reason to take on Wallaces contract when the reward is a player that will more then likely leave in the off season. Then there is the fact that Shaq is still there in Miami and there is no way this ever happens.

I love this from a Bulls perspective obviously. Heat should give up more. Sac, definitely should at least receive picks from both Chicago and Miami.

This is laughable. Chicago just destroys the other teams in the trade. Lotto protected till 2013? Thats funny. No way Sacramento does this.

2) Salmons plays the three without Artest, so why trade him
3) Where do the Heat play Wallace? Why do they trade so much in expiring contracts for basically Artest?
4) Sacramento gets ZERO players who they really want in trading three of their top six.

Because Bibby+Artest aren't worth a lotto pick, even if they're combined together and most GMs aren't stupid.

It's exactly these kind of points that are lost on most non-Kings fans for reasons unknown.
