NYK say YES!! YES!! YES!!
Those last 70 seconds, Randle in a nut shell.

Awful 2 for 1 3PT attempt when we are up 2
Doesn’t close out on Sabonis --> open 3
Takes another side step off balance 3

We got sucked into the Randle vortex where all good feelings go to die.

Memphis passes. Stoudamire-Swift are at least rotation guys. This does not do the Griz any major good in $$ terms

The Knicks dont have a second round pick this year or any really in the future but I dont mind this trade at all. Its certainly fair and does make some sense, however Damon is complaining about not getting time. What makes you think he would be happy in NY?
Jazz:
Allen l Wagner
Randle l Olynyk
Porter Jr l Marshall l Tucker
Herro l Okogie l Payton

Swift's cap number for next year - 6.2 million
Stoudamire - 2.35
Total 8.55

Malik Rose - 7.6

Saves them close to a million dollars on their cap next season.

I noticed the Knicks don't have a pick until 2010. We could take that one.

If no pick is available, we may do it straight up just for the savings.

Not like either player in the trade has any real value, although Swift can help N.Y. defensively in the frontcourt.

We'd be ok with a 2010 second.

Also this opens up options for a Marbury Trade or buyout.

No thanks. Stoudamire wouldn't help the team and Swift would likely steal minutes from David Lee.

I'm game. Since the 2nd round pick has already been dealt they can have Randolph Morris.

I might do that too. Jeffries can defend a bit can't he?

A prospect. That's a good trade off.

Accepted.

none of these trades help Memphis get better in the future, they all are salary related purges.

And salary purging doesn't help the future? You mean 3 million Knick fans are wrong about their opinion of Thomas? :D
