Bulls would have to take Gadzuric contract somehow for that deal to work, but then I wonder if the Bulls can pay Deng.

Redd was a 2nd rounder, and actually I believe Mo was too.

Mo is about equal to Hinrich

Redd>Gordon, but not by much.

Joe Smith is just an expiring

I am trying to work with you here.

I know this is not your thread, and you might not even want to trade Mo or Redd, but basically its looking like no one on your roster is untouchable, and you almost never get complete value back in a trade.

I know you guys and even the Bucks owner and GM probrably would rather get rid of Simmons, Gadzuric and maybe Bell, but they have a better chance of just trading quality for quality and shaking things up.

I guess if you wanted to make it a little better you could throw in Noah for Bell, or something along those lines, but then ti might even start getting lopsided against Chicago.

Why on earth would the Bulls have to take Gadzuric? Gadzuric has no part in that deal.

Um, they can't take Gadzuric in that deal, unless they send back about 4 to 6 mil in salary.

Saying was talent wise, they were getting a better deal, so they would have to find a way and take the contract with it.

Rockets say no, we then don't have a PG that can run our offense.

1 Houston won't take bad contracts in Gadzuric and Mobley
2 Houston won't be able to fetch those 1st rounders when the outgoings are Alston, James, Snyder, Landry and Scola.
3 Houston won't trade Scola when the incoming PF is Charlie V
4 Houston can't afford to trade their only capable starting PG in Alston while not getting one back. As good as Brooks has shown this season, hes still raw. He's often getting abused on the defensive end.

Not saying Houston would or should do this deal, but I would think CV would be a good compliment to Yao. He'd really open up things inside for Yao to operate.

Scola has a very reliable mid-range jumper. I know Charlie is capable to knock down 3s. But the problem is he's not really a good 3pt shooter.
Scola struggles on defense sometimes. But hes still miles ahead of CV in that department. Once hes fully adjusted to NBA, he will be a good defender which I don't see in CharlieV.
Believe it or not, Scola also has a very good back to basket game. He doesn't dunk much but he finishes well around the basket. And hes got a strong body to back down his defender. He also has a good hook shot.
Charlie is more athletic. He's a better slasher. For some reason I believe he will be a better 3pt shooter in Houston's uniform. But his defensive deficit just kills what he brings on the offensive end.
Maybe its just me but I'd take Scola over CharlieV for Houston just for Scola's defense effort.

They could trade almost all those guys seperately and get expirings, 1st rounders and or a few prospects for each indivual deal.

I don't like any of the proposed deals for Houston. We're not rebuilding, and we don't need protected picks in exchange for taking on terrible contracts while sending out either Scola or Alston.
