Hornets trade: Bobby Jackson, Hilton Armstrong, Rasual Butler and their 08' first round pick

Clippers trade: Sam Cassell, Tim Thomas and Quintin Ross

Hornets Depth Chart
PG: Paul, Cassell, Pargo
SG: Peterson, Ross
SF: Peja, Wright, Bowen
PF: West, Thomas
C: Chandler, Ely

Clipper Depth Chart
PG: Knight, Jackson, Livingston
SG: Mobley, Butler
SF: Maggette, Thornton
PF: Brand, Thornton
C: Kaman, Armstrong

Why for New Orleans:
This gives them the depth they want at every position other then center. The get Cassell who I think would embrace playing behind Paul and Thomas who can add some toughness and depth to the forward position and help keep West and Peja healthy for the playoffs.

Why for the Clippers:
Its obvious everything is falling apart for the Clippers. This gets Cassell and Thomas out, two players who seem like they don't want to be there. They loss Ross, but get Butler. This opens up a point guard spot for Livingston when he returns and gives more playing time for Thornton, who just needs some experience to be a better player.

I think its great for the Hornets, but I don't know about the Clippers, lemme know what you think.
