Pacers decline. We need a backup PG, but we have been there with AJ. He played great for us when Tinsley went down. But he is not worth losing Foster AND Rush who has played extremely well as of late. ZaZa is nothing close to Foster and while AJ is a position need, I feel Rush is a better player, other Pacer fans may disagree with that last statement, but I'm pretty sure every Pacer fan would say no to that trade.

I doubt that would get it done. The Pacers are really high on Foster, and with each game becoming really high on Rush. Aside from getting a quality backup PG, we lose 2 very good players off the bench. I'm not sure if Zaza would play above Harrison if Harrison is healthy, and AJ is averaging 7 and 5 as a starter, when he gets less minutes I expect him to be even less productive. Its just not a good deal for the Pacers, the only players that would make it a decent deal for the Pacers are not players the Hawks will trade. I just don't see a deal like this happening.

AJ appeared to be one of the divisive personalities here in Indy in the locker room. I didn't expect it, but him leaving the locker room created the largest change. I imagine it had something to do with his competition with Tinsley for playing time.
However, overall, I'm relatively ok with a guy like Zaza Pachulia. However, I wouldn't trade Foster for him. Also, a guy like Rush is great to have right now, but he probably won't re-sign at the end of the year. I feel he's happy to use Indy as his springboard back into the NBA. I'd be ok with moving him a little later if we fall even farther out of playoff range for a 2nd round pick or in a larger deal.
However, I'd want something better of long-term value than just Zaza if we're trading Foster and Rush. Salomon Jones and a future 2nd? Probably not.

This would leave the Bobcats with no point guard so they would have to pass.
