Small but effective Sixers/Hornets trade

Sixers send Willie Green to Hornets for Hilton Armstrong and Ryan Bowen

Sixers free up a little cap space because Bowen is an expiring contract and they pick up a young big man in Armstrong

Hornets get a good scorer to come off the bench and playing with Paul in an uptempo style with Hornets could be a plus for Green....

Possible ....Thoughts....

Even if the Hornets thought that was fair, which I doubt, they need MORE big men, not fewer.

Well that solves the big man problem, but not the "Willie Green sucks and has a long contract" problem.

Its not that bad of a contract at around the mid level exception $$ amount ...and being that he would not have to be a primary option he could be explosive off the bench ....

Not a fan of the deal.

More realistic might be BJax (expires with Dre Miller) and a 1st for Evans & Green?

Right on part 2 at least. Randolph is a marginal PF,Armstrong a C who was a rather hig pick and has upside Randolph lacks.
