Shareef Abdur-Rahim
Ron Artest
Kenny Thomas
Mikki Moore

SAC GETS
Malik Rose
Zach Randolph
David Lee
Fred Jones

Sacramento fans, lets get honest for a second. Thomas and Rahim are terrible, don't play and cost you millions. Artest is gone in two years and Moore is the only one of these four actually playing. They get a guy they love in Lee, expiring Jones, Rose is a two year deal, and Randolph for all his probelms, cannot be the real reason the Knicks suck. I know Randolph is four years, but he will help them a lot more than Thomas or Rahim.

Shareef isn't playing because he's injured, not because he's terrible. If he can return to form next year, he should be easily movable.

Kenny is in fact terrible, and we would love to move him--but not for Randolphs albatross contract. We don't clear salary here and frankly, don't really improve as a team. Randolph may not be the only reason that the Knicks are a trainwreck, but he certainly doesn't help matters.

I don't know why everyone offers Zach to Sacramento...I just don't get how he would fit in there...and this is coming from a Knicks fan.

The trade between NYK and SAC should be this...

NYK trades:

SAC trades:
Ron Artest

Exactly. No pick in ANY year, protected or otherwise...that trade is much closer.
