I don't know if Redd's a great fit for Portland. Roy shouldn't play full-time PG, and Redd shouldn't play part time SF. I don't know if Portland would say no to this, but you've got to think that they'd be thinking 'don't fix it, if it ain't broken'. Good value for the Bucks though.

I dont think the Blazers touch this. Bullz pretty much hit the nail on the head. It either forces Roy to play Point or Redd to SF. Both are no-no's with Roy playing point more likely i would think. Travis Outlaw is playing great for POR and why do they touch Gadz' contract?
Seems likely if POR wanted to make a push NOW which doesnt make sense.

Bc Raef LaFrentz contract is way worse. Your probly right about the the fit for Redd but I would think the Blazers would still find it hard to pass on this trade. Redd, Roy, Oden, Aldridge would be scary. With Oden and Aldridge Redd would kill teams shooting.

But he's only signed to a two year deal. Next season he becomes a really attractive trade piece. I aslo beleive in total, Gadzuric is owed more money.

I don't think Blazers send out both Webster and Outlaw, probably only one of them with Jack. If I had to pick one to send out with Jack? It would probably be Outlaw although he's been playing great. I don't think Blazers touch the deal either. It kind of forces some key players to play out of position.

Plus, how much of Michael Redd's lack of defense help the Blazers.

I don't do this if I'm the Blazers. I like Redd, but would never want to pay a guy like him the max. Webster gives you a lot of what Redd does at a fraction of the cost (and when his contract comes up, he'll be at most a 6-8 million player, which will be a bargain in a couple of years).
No reason for the Blazers to mess with their chemistry and youth, especially when they'll have to worry about paying Roy and Aldridge in the next couple of years, and then Oden not long after.

Roy
Redd
Jones
Aldridge
Oden
Deadly! However, this would deplete our bench (a bit) and Redd's contract is horrendous. I'd pass mostly because of Redd's contract.
