Raps get:
Smush Parker
Alexander Johnson

Heat get:
Joey Graham
Maceo Baston

WHY IT COULD WORK FOR THE RAPS:
They get PG depth, which Colangelo is looking for.

WHY IT COULD WORK FOR THE HEAT:
They remove a headache in Parker and get back more depth at the 3 spot.

Smush Parker for Joey Graham? Ugh. Perhaps Miami can add a punch in the face while Toronto adds a kick in the groin? ;)

On paper, this addresses areas of need, but both players are so worthless that they're not solutions to any kind of problem. I haven't looked up the contracts, but I would do it if I were whichever team is saving more money. That's about it.

I say Smush for Baston. And the Raptors do it if Smush promises not to exercise his option for the next year.

no thanks, we'll keep graham, if we ever wanted a chucker, we'll let Dixon play (which is what we're doing right now anyway)

Why would Toronto want to touch Smush's terrible deal just to get a raw prospect in Johnson who is like Humphries.

Smush Parker wouldn't get anymore burn then Dixon is getting and I would say right now Dixon is the better player all around. Toronto dosn't get anything really worth value in this deal. Rather try to package Graham for something else

They save money next year, which is exactly why Miami doesn't do this.

How when you figure Toronto is going to offer Johnson at least something in the $500,000-$750,000 mark, we save maybe $1 million to $1.5 million if we don't keep Johnson.

Not saying we give up serious talent but Smush is a lucky to be in the NBA, he is only usefull in the triangle system. He's a shoot first pass second guard who we want nothing to do with.

Listen, I don't blame you for not wanting him, but their's no need for us to spend more money next year just to get rid of him. We could cut him, which has the exact same effect, and save money over what we'd be paying next year. Neither Baston nor Graham are worth the extra cash...
