The big pieces here are Childress and Ellis, and the Warriors won't do that. The other parts just shuffle things around.

I just went back and compared them again. I'm not sure that I wouldn't rather keep Chil. Zaza is way better than POB now, but POB might still have some potential.

Look at Chils numbers:

FG% .595
FT% .862

I think he'd fit real well with Baron and Stephen

He can play SG/SF and have good size at both.

You realize that's the position easiest to fill in the NBA, right? Hell, every year the Warriors have another swingman who comes in and immediately becomes a productive player. Matt Barnes, Keleena Azubuike.

Childress is a nice player, and he went to Stanford. I like him, but Monta Ellis is our Tony Parker. Monta is just as fast as Parker. No one can stay in front of Ellis on the dribble. He has a unique skill-set and far more potential than Childress. That makes him incredibly valuable to the Warriors, who intend to keep Ellis for a long time.

So this trade absolutely blows for the Warriors.

Yeah, I like Ellis too. Love to see him next to JJ.

tb, just to let you know, this deal blows for GS just as much as your Biedrins offer earlier this week...

and if you would love to see someone on your team, probably means your going to have to pay something and not just give quanity.. granted Chill is nice, but not nice enough, especially at a pos that the Warriors pretty much have covered
