Cleveland Gets:
Sam Cassell

Clippers Get:
Damon Jones
2008 #1 Pick
Any other scrub to make the money work out.

Sam Cassell wants to finish his career with a chance to compete for a Championship. Cleveland needs another scorer to help Labron in the big games. Sam has ice-water in his veins and can still go for 35 when the pressure's on.

Damon Jones is in the doghouse and never plays. He's young and solid, not a star but could help the Clippers backcourt. We get him through 2009 and we get Cleveland's #1, which will be late first round.[/u]

What do you got against Sam? He's a winner and can make bigtime shots. He would've gotten you at least one win last year in the finals.

He's old, and broken. He's not worth a 1st round pick.

Nothing against Sam, but the Cavaliers aren't going to go two straight years with no draft pick AT ALL. We had none last year and if this trade went down, we'd be left with none at all this year too (unless we traded back in of course, but none going in). Our 1st going to you and our 2nd gone to Phoenix for the Milt Palacio deal a few years back.
