TMAC to bulls

I like the idea of TMAC to the bulls, but would NOT over pay. Here's why:

-He MIGHT want out
-His teammates MIGHT like playing without him
-He has no playoff success
-he has serious injury concerns
-he has a huge deal

Therefore, the best I offer is Gordon, Wallace, our #1 (no protection) for Tmac and a salary dump (maybe MJames?)

Gordon and wallace would look good with Yao. Wallace would add muscle, gordon pure shooting

talent wise, the bulls get a steal-but my five points above even it out

The TMac to Chicago rumors are garbage of the lowest order.

Beyond that, Houston would be better off not trading TMac if the best they can do is Wallace / Gordon. However, I'm sure they could do better than that if he was available.

That's about where TMac's value is to the Bulls IMO. Houston shouldn't do it though because TMac's value isn't that great right now but isn't quite that bad either. Plus Gordon turned down 50 million and no one and I repeat NO ONE should pay that much for Gordon.

that is the rub, gordon's deal next year. However, who will offer him more? Who has more to offer? he will have to accept a fair deal. Don't forget the bulls' #1 (I said no protection). IF Tmac misses a lot of time the bulls would be in the lottery-they'd be without much scoring and wallace, however bad his deal, still gives us solid d

It's not about Ben Gordon becoming an RFA. It's no about the 1st rounder.
It is about Ben Wallace

Try to trade him for expirings. When you get the expirings, we will talk. Don't give me the BS that he's a good fit for Houston. No he's not. But that's not the point. The point is no matter he's a good fit or not, Houston ain't going to take on his shameful contract.

Tmac laughs at this thread.

Wow...Chicago gets TMac for one of the worst contracts in the L, an undersized shooter with outrageous contract demands, and a 1st round pick.

Sure....right after the Warriors get Dwight Howard for the Trade Exception and a couple of 2nd rounders....

As I've said a billion times, there's no point in trading McGrady. His value is at an all time low and considering we are in a win now direction, the fact remains when he's on the floor (expected to come back sometime next week) he's still a 25/5/5 player in the deals being offered, we wouldn't nearly be able to match the production he gives us in a trade since other teams would not offer their best player in a deal for McGrady and rightfully so. We'd be much better off keeping him then trading him for a couple role players.

If we were going in a different direction than "win now," then yeah he'd definitely be on the block, but we currently aren't so any T-Mac deal is pretty much unrealistic at this point, unless somebody offered like Kobe, LeBron or D-Wade, which we all know will NEVER happen.

good points TMACFORMVP, very good. The bulls will wait for his trade demand then, if it comes

IF it comes, CHI can do MUCH better than Ben Wallace, Gordon and what would amount to a late pick.
