That is a ton to give for Dalembert. He makes a ton, would force either Smith or Horford into a reserve role (if you're paying a backup 10 million something is wrong), and we give up any chance of cap space we would have had.

Don't think you could make the numbers work...Atlanta does need a center and a PG, but don't think they will pull the trigger to improve the team...and the Suns are smiling.

Shelden and Zaza would absorb over $7M of Daly's $11M. We would also lose a couple expirings.
But, Daly, Horford and Smoove could all get well over 30 minutes a game and we would be so solid.
Horford can get about 15 minutes at C, the rest at PF. Smoove Bout 30 at PF, the rest at SF. Marvin and Chil still get theirs.
AJ / Acie / Speedy
JJ / Mario / Salim
Marvin / Chil
Smoove / Jones
Daly / Horford
I don't care who starts, they all get their minutes. We might go over the cap to sign the Josh's and Marvin, but this is a team that will only need a MLE here or there. The ceiling would be very high. Daly is only 26. He'd fit in well with our team.
I like he and Smoove on D. Horford coming in and taking over.

I don't want Smith anywhere near the sf position.
To me PG is a much, much, much bigger need than a defensive big. We have Shelden who can do a solid job and Horford who is proving himself to be a beast. I would rather go for a pg because that team still doesn't do anything since there isn't a point guard who can score from the outside when needed.

No, the Hawks are smiling. They have All-Star Joe Johnson while the Suns have an untradable Diaw and a non-lotto pick.

So they have a stronghold on the last playoff spot in the east, or is it that they are 3 games ahead of the 3rd worst team in the conference?? These are the Hawks, right?

Nothing proves we have to have a shooting PG. Any good PG should improve everyone's FG%.
I think the big problem with Acie is that everyone wanted to turn him into a NBA pass first PG. Should have just let him play his game and look to adapt.
Woodson is a very inept coach.
I've been proposing a bunch of trades lately and in nearly every trade, both sides decline.

Philly is not trading Dalembert for garbage since we'd have to start Booth or Zaza at center. Sixers pass easily!
