memphis get another 2 young pieces in BW and a 1st
al harrington is a short contract...PO and AC are throw ins to make it work

Nellie gets a poor mans dirk who can play up tempo small ball as a center and a guy in hak who has proven he is an offensive threat, in golden state his lack of d wont be so evident..

Gasol != poor man's Dirk.

Gasol would not fit into GS's system at all.

i disagree gasol has been a high assist pf who can run his whole career his range is very understated.. in the world championships he stepped behind the arc on many occasions

Gasol has nice numbers the last year that Memphis has been uptempo, but really was much more effective with the half-court style that lead to playoff berths for Memphis. He's not the worst fit for GS (that's either Zach Randolf or Eddy Curry), but he's not the best either.

The price is reasonable enough that it still might be worth it if Cohan was willing to go into the luxury tax next year to keep things together.

Our interior defense would be a lot worse than what it is already after this deal.

Grizzlies pass.

I dont no dude he scored 45 the other day against us in a up and down game

Warriors would accept because now we have a 1-2 combo at center in Beans and gasol.
but i dought Nelly likes it because he likes centers that can shoot the 3 like Harrington or Dirk.
but the warriors would be foolish to pass this up.

Are the Warriors willing to mess with the chemistry for a guy that may not be able to stay healthy, and he doesnt seem like he would be a good fit.
