TRADE ID: 4407695

Memphis trades:
1) Darko
2) Lowry
3) Stoudamire
for:
1) Okefor
2) Tinsley

Indiana trades:
1) JO
2) Tinsley
for:
1) JRICH
2) Felton
3) Othella Harrington (expiring)
4) Stoudamire

Bobcats trade:
1) Okefor
2) Felton
3) Harrington
4) JRICH
for:
1) JO
2) Darko
3) Lowry

NEW LINEUPS:

Indiana:
PG: Felton/DA
SG: JRICH/Daniels
SF: Granger/Dunleavy
PF: Diogu/Williams
C: Murphy/Foster

Memphis:
PG: Conley/Tinsley
SG: Miller/Navarro
SF: Gay/Cardinal
PF: Okefor/Warrick
C: Gasol/Swift

Bobcats:
PG: Lowry/Mcginnis
SG: Carroll/Anderson
SF: Wallace/Dudley
PF: JO/Hollins
C: Darko/Nazr

REASONS:
Indiana:
Get out of JO's contract and become more of a run & gun style that fits the coach. Felton and Jrich will excel in an offense.

Memphis:
1) Okefor would be a great fit next to Gasol and Gay. Have to take Tinsley's contract to do it though.

Bobcats:
1) With JO, Darko, and Wallace, they have an outstanding frontline. Lowry is the key to the deal. He's an all-star talent who'd excel in a more half-court setting. They decide paying Okefor on the open market isn't the right move. They also decide that Jrich's longterm deal is a mistake.

Memphis says deal before the rest of the trade is announced, and would like to know how this deal HELPS Charlotte at all, they give up three starters to downgrade at each position

I disagree, Lowry>>Felton, especially in a half-court offense. Felton's a scorer in a PG body, except he's not Arenas or Baron Davis. Lowry would be a much better fit as a PG. Furthermore, Darko and JO would allow Wallace back to the SF fulltime, where he'd be an all-star. Jrich's deal is terrible, and they get out of it.

WOW, downright AWFUL For CHA.

Switch Lowry to Conley and you get ALOT closer.

This deal is painfully awful for Charlotte... why on earth would they trade Okafor for a guy like what at least 5 years older then him and probably not as good as him ? And trade JRich and Felton for Lowry and Darko?!?!? What the hell ?

If you think Lowry is better than Felton, then you should send me a post card from the magical world of make believe. This is one of the single worst trades ever posted for a team. Charlotte gives up 3 young starters, including a quality young big, and they get back 2 backups and an overpaid, always hurt big man.

If you think JRich is on a bad contract, then you should hate JO's bloated contract.

Frankly, I think Okefor is very overrated. I saw Andray Blatche DESTROY him earlier this year. Okefor's very limited on offense, and he isn't long. He hasn't improved an ounce in 4 years. He's a solid big, but not a game changer. Felton is a scorer. Lowry is better than Felton. He's a much better defender and pure passer. Lowry averages more boards per game even tough he plays 13 minutes less per game! Lowry is a tough and IMO, better than Felton.

I would cry if this happened for the Pacers. I'd be SOOOOOOOOOO happy. Charlotte doesn't touch this though, not even close.

Okafor might be younger than O'Neal, but hes not better. Not yet anyway, put a few more years on JO and maybe. If Okafor was better than JO, the Bobcats would be a top 3 team in the East with Richardson/Wallace/Felton to go with him. Okafor doesn't have the presence JO has.

It seems like Darko is VASTLY overrated in this trade proposal.
