Phoenix Question

The Suns are notorious for wanting to stay out of the tax, and they might be ready to deal Shawn Marion, so do you think they trade for any of the following guys:

Philadelphia: Dalmabert/Evans

Indiana: Jermaine O'Neal

Cleveland: Drew Gooden, Donyell Marshall, Ira Newble

LA Clippers (add ATL pick): Elton Brand

I am not saying these deals are what they would be, but the starting points for a deal. Let me know what you think.

Philly: DalMAbert sounds great , but most likely not since those contracts are pretty hefty. I think both players would fit our team well though

Indiana: nope, too expensive and injured too often

Cleveland: highly doubtful since afterwards someone would definitely have to choke Kerr to death for agreeing to this one ;)

Clippers: tempting, has been discussed several times on the Suns board already. Personally, I'd like this move, the only problem is nobody knows whether Brand will return to his old form/how long it will take him to do so. Still an interesting proposal for sure

Philly can't trade Dalembert for Marion even if they were interested in him. That would leave Calvin Booth as the starting center.

Good point corwin. The Sixers already are quite thin up front, and trading away their only good center wouldn't help. They'd also loose a lot of size with Marion being an undersized PF.

Thanks Moe. Dalembert won't be going anywhere unless a decent center or a potentially decent & uninjured center like Noah comes back in a trade. The team is too small & Jason Smith is really a PF.
