Chicago gets a playmaking point guard and Philly gets a young player with potential but who is in the Bulls doghouse and get some cap space as well.
More importantly they will pick up some more ping-pong balls as well hopefully resulting in Beasley or DRose. :D

No.

Andre Miller is a decent point guard. He's also fairly old, not even remotely close enough to make the Bulls a contending team and expensive.

The Bulls need some major changes... mainly getting a guard who gets to the line regularly and clearing time for Thomas, Noah and Gray by firing Ben Wallace from a cannon into the ocean.

They don't need to sap their youth to got non-impact players.

miller is not a no impact player. your looney if u think that. and who he uses his brains, not his athletisism, he is gonna be good for a long time.

Miller's a pg with career averages of 14 points and 7 assists a game.

He's a decent player. He's not an impact player.

And other than Hinrich's cataclysmic slump he's a downgrade at point guard for the Bulls.

It's a bad move that does little to help now and nothing long term.

I think Miller would help stabilize Chicago since Hinrich is having such a crap year. Not sure if I'd put Thomas in a deal if I was Chicago. Philly should want Noah. Chicago would also need to move Hinrich but I think he's a BYC player & he costs too much for the Sixers which would make him hard to move.

This deal helps the Bulls win 32 games instead of 29 this year, but also would help us win less in the following years.

Not that Miller is a bad player, but this is awful for the Bulls.

We do not need another point guard unless Hinrich is being shipped out. Hinrich is playing out of position at the 2 guard spot. Sometimes he plays shooting guard at both ends of the court, sometimes just on D. Either way, he needs to be a point guard on both ends of the court.

To bring in Miller and keep Hinrich makes zero sense. It only makes things more complex, it does not solve anything.
