Backup PGs or combo Gs available for the TPE

We need: Backup G. Ideally for around 10-15 minutes a game off the bench. Must be capable of playing PG in Don Nelson's system (i.e. distributing, running the floor, etc.) Veteran preferred. MUST BE EXPIRING OR SMALL CONTRACT

You get: Traded Player Exception. Instant cap space and a roster spot. Give up a player without taking any salary back. Good for avoiding the lux tax or gaining a roster spot without cutting someone. Possibly a second round pick, if we're getting someone at the higher end of the spectrum.

I've heard names like Flip Murray, Sam Cassell, Damon Stoudemire, Jason Williams being thrown out there. Any others?

Tyronne Lue is a name I've suggested before. I'm sure the Hawks won't mind saving a little money on someone with a reduced role.

If Indy is looking to get a little more breathing space under the luxury tax, Travis Diener could be a solid little option without having to give up a 2nd round pick.

Sebastian Telfair's did OK for MIN last month, and you'd have the choice to bring him back with the qualifying offer if he player well. He's plenty fast enough for GSW and has young legs, but he's no vet.

Mike James, lol. He actually fits the description. But you don't want him, trust me.

I could see him fitting in.

Thanks for all the ideas, here's how I see them from a W's perspective:

Tyronne Lue: Solid, fits the bill.

Travis Diener: Nice player, but really looking for more of a veteran. Still, if no one else was available he'd be a nice plan B.

Brevin Knight: YES. One of my favorite players.

Jeff McInnis: Too much of a lockerroom cancer to pick up.

Luke Ridnour: Not enough D and way too much $.

Sebastian Telfair: Same basic issue as Diener, but could be a nice fit.

Damon Jones: Too much $

Jason Williams: Again, like him a lot as an option.

Mike James: Again, the $ means no way.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, if these were the options, I think Jason Williams would be the #1, followed by Brevin Knight and Tyronne Lue.
Flip Murray. I think he'd actually be decent in GS's up tempo offense. The thing with him is he's inconsistent in a limited role. He always plays his best when filling in for an injured starter or when he gets consistent minutes. And he's expiring.
You want a vet? Sir, you sound like a man crying out for Darrick Martin. We'll even throw in a case of forehead polish.
That seems like the logical order to me too.
Just a question .. can you afford Jason Williams and still slip under the lux?
They'd be 300k under the tax according to ESPN's numbers :D
But if you don't want to pay all that money, you can have Smush ;)
He can dunk!
All these options suck... we should wait until the trade deadline and try and get AJ from ATL for a couple 2nds and Pietrus... hopefully they'll start giving Acie Law some burn...
With PG an issue, and Atlanta actually contending, I don't see them giving the Atlanta native up.
