Devin Brown is playing well for us right now. He has more value to us than as an expiring contract. And our post is horrid after this trade.

I think it's fair too...but one problem is that the Cavs frontcourt is too thin not to get any bigs back for Gooden. The obvious choice is to include Kenny, but he's SO bad this year that (a) he may not help much at all, and (b) the Cavs probably won't trade shorter contracts for him.

Oh com'n you don't think they deal Eric Snow for Kenny...I mean I don't think Petrie budges unless Ferry takes kenny back. It's one extra year between Kenny/Snow to get a player infinitely better than any other player on your roster this side of LeBron.

I agree. I tried to make a trade that K9 wasn't involved.

While there big man depth looks bad, thats the price their going to have to pay for getting Bibby. They can trade one their backup guards to get another big, but that wasn't the trade I was trying to post

I don't think Devin Brown would be a deal breaker.

Well, from my perspective (which I understand is not everyone's):

1) The OP is fair.
2) Trading KT for Snow is better for Sacramento than Cleveland.
3) That makes the trade UNfair.

So if you insist on adding the swap, fine. Just make sure you give Cleveland some extra value back somehow while you do it.

Just swap Devin Brown and Shannon Brown and I'd probably do it... Bigger expiring as well as a better long-term potential prospect...

If the Kings want a KT/Snow swap, take out the first then...

I think it has to be the swap or the first, not both, it's too much...

#1 is where we differ.

^Yes, I know. It's also where nearly everyone on this board and a few holdout Kings fans differ.

We'll see what happens, if anything ever does. I'm very willing to admit I've been wrong before.

What's always popular isn't always right.

Ya i don't think anyone will ever agree, and i have a feeling that someone is going to be truly unhappy if and when a trade does go down

Agreed. Isn't always wrong, either. So what?

As I said, I'm perfectly able to accept when I'm wrong. It sure happens often enough ;)

I just think that a very large number of fans of neither team involved is probably going to be somewhat more objective than a small number of fans of one of the teams. Doesn't mean they'll be right, I grant you that. Doesn't mean you will either.

Well, I've been wrong before, and since that instance, I've vowed never to do it again. ;)
