Shawne Williams is a highly valued prospect. What is Indiana getting that warrants that?

I wouldn't trade Daniels for Snyder and James.

I wouldn't trade Williams for Snyder and James.

Why in the world would I trade both of them for Snyder and James.

Because of the followup deal of Tmac for Tinsley/Murphy?

Mike James has 3 more years on his contract after this year, right? Daniels only has next year guaranteed. That alone is reason enough to not make this deal.

Well, i think Snyder is also an expiring.
I don't know how much Pacers fans value Daniels.
However, trying to grab Williams with that offer is quite foolish I think.
In order for the Rockets to get away from James, I would give a 2nd round pick.
But I agree, MJ/Snyder is not going to get the Rockets much.

i doubt you'll get anywhere without including luther head in a deal with the pacers.

Williams/Daniels/Tinsley/Murphy

for

TMac/Snyder/James

Thats more realistic.

Even above is a bit asinine. Murphy has an albatross of a contract, Tinsley is a walking embodiment of a 50 cent song and T-Mac is still T-Mac, somebody who could fetch a bit more than jailbait, a decent prospect, slow white guy and an inconsistent bench player

I never said it was perfect, I said it was more realistic.

Tinsley has played at an All-Star caliber level this year, his value to Indy just went down after the Suns game.

Murphy would play perfectly next to Yao Ming, perfect compliment.

Daniels is one of the best bench players in the league, can always find a way to score.

Williams has huge potential and has shown flashed of being a star(Suns game), he could be a great player.

We bring in the injury prone T-Mac to go with the injury prone O'Neal. Sounds worst than it is. Any lineup involving TMac, O'Neal, and Granger is fine by me. We'd have Leavy off the bench. Diogu would get playing time.

Not saying the Rockets would accept, but its more realistic than the originally proposed deal.

It's not more realistic. Something that is COMPLETELY unrealistic is no more or less realistic than something else that will never, ever, happen.

I agree that the original deal is a rip off for the Pacers considering I'd even do that deal with just Daniels, let alone adding a great looking prospect in Williams, BUT this is equally as worse for our part.
