you have to give up something to get something in return. the raptors, due to fords injury, would clearly have to pick up another pointguard to help duhon if he gets hurt.
that being said its not like any of this would ever happen
Ben Wallace is in steep decline, and his salary over the next three years rivals Exxon's profits. Right now, he's statistically the worst offensive starting center in NBA history, and his defense and hustle have taken a hit as well.
Introducing Duhon to the higher alcohol content in Canadian beer might also be fatal.

**** your asterisk.

Heh, Wallace + Duhon + 2009 1st (lottery protected) for Rasho, Kapono and Garbajosa?
Hell no you would have to give a 100% unprotected pick just to get Toronto to consider this. Wallace has done nothing this season and is making superstar money. He's the worst C in the league this year hands down.
Duhon hasn't done great this season so that really hurts his value, I think that Kopono is worth more then Duhon as it is now and anybody with a shorter contract is worth Wallace.
Toronto goes into serious cap hell after this deal how could we afford to resign Bargnani, Calderon, Duhon, Delfino and afford to pay 2 draft picks this year? We would be at like $70 million

Oh, I never said that I'd do it...it was more of a "how much are you willing to pay us to take him off your hands" question.

Well this is a bad deal for Toronto with a protected first since Chicago isn't really in the position to make a serious run to push them out of the lotto draft and this is a great year for players like Roy Hibbert, Tyler Smith, Danilo Gallinari, Patrick Patterson and Brook Lopez whom are all going to be lotto picks. Toronto could use a big like Hibbert, Lopez or Patterson.
Wallace was a one point considered one of the elite center's in the league now his just bad and really overpaied. It's not always about the talent, it's how it's going to fit now and in the next 2-3 years. Wallace dosn't help us he hinders us and just takes up wayyyyyyyyy too much cap room.

No way Toronto does this.
Also Calderon right now is worth more than Kirk Hinrich and I'm sure Hinrich is still worth more than Wallace and Duhon combined.
